At Asset Lift Consulting, we have a proven track record of managing modernisation or replacement projects on behalf of our clients, providing end-to-end support from initial design conception through to project completion and de-snagging. Our comprehensive Design-Phase Services are outlined on our Modernisation & Upgrades page, and we tailor our approach to meet each client's unique needs.

Following the design and tendering stage, we can take care of the formal appointment of the successful contractor on your behalf, whilst also notifying unsuccessful contractors. We'll work closely with the contractor to establish a manufacturing stage and start date, and then arrange & chair a Pre-Start Meeting to ensure everything is in order before the works begin.

Throughout the site works, we'll provide regular progress updates to keep you informed of the latest developments against the agreed Programme of Works. You can count on us to handle every aspect of your project with the utmost care and attention to detail.

Additionally, if requested, we shall also performed the following duties on the client’s behalf:

  • Certify the contractor’s invoices for payment.

  • Raise Variation Orders if necessary

  • Perform a Final Inspection at Practical Completion

  • Check and de-snag once Completed

  • Issue final Completion certificates at the appropriate stages

  • Respond to e-mail & telephone queries throughout the project

CDM Principal Designer

When multiple contractors are involved in a project, it is the client's responsibility to ensure compliance with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015. As part of these regulations, a Principal Designer must be appointed to oversee the project’s health & safety.

At Asset Lift Consulting, we can serve as your appointed Principal Designer during the construction phase of your lift project. With our expertise in managing complex projects and ensuring compliance with regulations, you can have peace of mind knowing that your project will be in good hands.

These duties include,

  • Preparation of the Pre-Construction Health & Safety Information

  • Check & review the Contractor’s Construction-Phase Plan including all RAMS

  • Confirm to the client when the project is ready, from a Health & Safety perspective, to proceed on site

  • Ensure the Contractor’s final Health & Safety File for the project contains all required information and is presented to the Client
